CREW ROTATION

Crews will be rotated through their deployments similar to the military. Each person will go through four phases in their rotation:
  1. Shore Duty
    • Crew has a normal day at the Spaceport
  2. Workups
    • Crew gets ready for the upcoming deployment
  3. Deployment
    • Crew is deployed
  4. Shore Leave
    • Crew on vacation
Every rotation has two orbital deployments and one lunar deployment.

Vacation time is not needed because of the large number of Shore Leave days.

Crew on Shore Duty act as backups in case another astronaut can't deploy (because of pregnancy, for example). When the astronaut is deemed fit for duty, they will be returned to the crew rotation.

::

VENTURESTAR CREW
Since their schedule varies from a one–day deployment to a 9–day deployment, this Spaceliner Reentry Vehicle (RV) crew has an unusual schedule (Table 1).

SPACE CREW
Astronauts who wear Blue, Gray, Khaki, or Green Shirts fall in this category. The have full Quarter deployments that last 91 days. Three Quarters marks a Cycle (Table 3).

::

We will allow the crew to work as an astronaut for 40 years. Eighteen cycles, at 2.25 months each, is 40.5 years.

We will accept applications when three criteria have been met:
  1. Bachelor Degree
  2. Military Flyer
  3. 30–years of age
We may have to provide exceptions to point #2 for Purple and Khaki Shirts.
