Reagents are needed to produce LO2 from the lunar soil. Specifically, Calcium Chloride (CaCl) salt to extract the gaseous O2, and Liquid Nitrogen (LN2) to convert the gaseous O2 into liquid.
We will need tankers to carry these reagents as well as the Liquid Hydrogen (LH2) fuel.
Five tankers will carry different loads:
- 9,000 kg Calcium Chloride Tanker
- 9,300 kg Liquid Nitrogen Tanker
- 5,208 kg Lunar Regolith Tanker
- 7,715 kg Liquid Oxygen Tanker
- 9,184 kg Liquid Hydrogen Tanker
