We will use 14 VentureStar Reentry Vehicles (RVs) every Quarter devoted to orbital science. Six of the RVs will be used for OV propellant refill of the Expeditionary vehicles for the journey to an orbital altitude of 6,422 km.
The other 8 RVs will be used to transport any science–related payload to the EOS. Expeditionary vehicles will be used to place the science payload in the appropriate locations.
