LSS ARCHITECTURE

Living and working on the lunar surface, albeit for a limited time, is one of the most profound concepts in all of human history. Humankind's first steps would have involved temporary shelters (Image 1 and Image 2) that would have housed the crew that would assemble the more permanent structures.

A modular approach seems to be the best way to lay out a lunar base (Image 3). Cylinders laid on its side provide a fairly large floor space.

The cylinders can be filled with whatever is needed (Image 4 and Image 5) during assembly on Earth, then shipped to the Moon.

A lunar station should not only be a base of operations but also a place of rest and relaxation. It must be functional and elegant. The crew needs to feel proud of their work environment. We will spare no effort in making the crew comfortable.
